Building a Powerful Reading Life

Today we launched our reader's workshop and third graders were so excited!  They shared where their favorite places to read were and why they love to read.  Our third grade readers eagerly jumped into some books, either rereading old favorites or discovering new ones.  We are so excited by the enthusiasm for reading displayed by all!

It's a New Year!

We have successfully completed our first day of the 2015-2016 school year...and it went by sooooo quickly!

  
While getting to know new friends and teachers, we also reminded ourselves of our school-wide expectations and routines.  Our favorite, of course, is recess!!

Sneak a Peek to the New School Year

We're soooo excited to start the 2015-2016 school year and we're going to give you the chance to see a sneak peak on Friday, August 21st, from 2:30-3:30 pm.   We're opening the doors to our classrooms (before they're ready!!) in the hopes that you'll come in and say hello!
