Open House - Thursday September 19th

We are looking forward to welcoming families and friends into our classrooms on Thursday evening from 5:00-6:00.  Students are excited to share some of the things they've been working on so far this year, as well as all of their new favorite things in their classrooms.  Specials teachers will be available to meet and greet, too!

Plus, there will be a community dinner in the cafeteria from 5:30-7:00 pm.  Hope to see you there!

It was wonderful to see so many families and smiling faces at our Open House last week! If you weren't able to make, feel free to connect with your student's teacher to find a time to visit...we love to share our learning!

 

RES Open House Next Week

September 25, 2019, 6-7 pm

Third Grade classrooms will be open to visit.  Stop in to see what students have been up to in Reading, Writing, Word Study, Science, Cursive!, and Math!  Mrs. Ayer & Mrs. Girouard will be available for quick questions, too.  We hope to see you all!

Open House Week

     Today students come home with our weekly newsletter on yellow paper.  Our newsletter lets you know what we will be focusing on this week in school and some highlights from last week's field trip.  Check out the back for a few photos from our science trip to Huntington River.  More photos coming soon!
      Also, we look forward to meeting you all this Wednesday from 6:00-7:00pm for our Open House!  Your children are so excited to show you their classroom and what they are learning!

Open House Success

 

It was wonderful to see all of the families visiting our classrooms during Open House!  The excitement was bursting throughout the school as scholars shared all of their hard work during these first few weeks of school.  This work included the narrative stories and acrostic poems hanging in the hallways, their 3rd grade hopes & dreams, their writing journals, reading logs, and scientists' notebooks!

We also surveyed families to determine the best way for us to share 3rd grade curriculum information with you.  Overwhelmingly, families preferred we share this information via our blog and website.  However, we will be more than happy to have a conversation regarding curriculum as part of your child's parent-teacher conference later in October.

We continue to look forward to a terrific year "Growing, Moving, & Changing" together!
